Activation Lock Detection from DFU Mode: Current Limitations
We investigated whether Activation Lock (Find My iPhone) can be detected after DFU mode and IPSW overwrite. Pairing/trust is required, so it is not possible in DFU-only workflows.
Troubleshooting: Erasure Errors from iOS Recovery Mode (USB Reconnect Issues)
If erasure fails after entering Recovery Mode, it is often a USB reconnect issue (cable/hub/host controller). MASAMUNE retries automatically, but reconnecting can help.
